Applications: Packaging machinery, textile machinery, mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, printing machinery, tobacco machinery, forging machinery, various machine tools, and interchangeable mechanical transmission connections.
Examples include: pulleys, sprockets, gears, propellers, large fans, and various other connections.
Features: High torque, high precision, convenient and quick assembly and disassembly, simple operation, good positioning, reduced scrap rate of mating shafts and hubs, reusable, and does not damage mating surfaces, making it the most ideal and economical choice currently available.
1. Installation: The bushing is pre-lubricated at the factory and can be installed directly. During installation, first screw three bolts evenly around the circumference into the flange holes of the outer bushing to open the inner and outer bushings. Then, place the expansion sleeve into the hub hole at the designed position and tighten the bolts using a torque wrench. The tightening method is to tighten each bolt to 1/4 of its rated torque each time, with the tightening sequence symmetrically alternating between left and right sides, starting from the opening, to ensure the rated torque value is reached.
2. Disassembly: Loosen all bolts a few turns before disassembly. Then, interlock the bolts into the loosened expansion sleeves in a crisscross pattern within the bolt holes.
3. Protection: Prevent contamination of the expansion sleeves during installation. For machines operating outdoors or in harsh environments, regularly apply anti-rust grease to the exposed end faces of the expansion sleeves and bolts. Choose expansion sleeves with good rust resistance. The expansion sleeve is a modern, advanced mechanical component. It is a keyless connection device widely used internationally to connect machine parts and shafts, relying on the pressure and friction generated between the mating surfaces by tightening 12.9 grade high-strength screws to achieve load transfer.
