Zhejiang Shangshi Precision Hardware Mfg. Co., Ltd. has successfully completed its ISO 9001:2015 annual surveillance audit with zero non-conformities, reaffirming the company's commitment to consistent quality across its metal stamping, CNC machining, and custom hardware production lines.
Conducted by an accredited third-party registrar, the audit covered every aspect of Shangshi's quality management system-from incoming material inspection and in-process SPC controls to final outgoing inspection and traceability documentation. The auditors specifically noted the company's disciplined use of Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts on critical stamping dimensions and its closed-loop corrective action process for customer complaints.
In parallel with the certification renewal, Shangshi has invested in upgrading its on-site quality laboratory. The facility now operates an additional Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with Renishaw probe system, expanding the lab's capacity to handle 100% first-article inspection and in-process dimensional verification on multi-cavity progressive die parts. The CMM delivers measurement accuracy of ±2.5 µm + L/300, covering workpieces up to 800 × 600 × 500 mm.
The laboratory also maintains:
- Rockwell & Vickers hardness testers for material verification after heat treatment
- Salt spray test chamber (per ASTM B117 / ISO 9227) for corrosion resistance validation of zinc-plated, nickel-plated, and passivated surfaces
- Surface roughness testers and digital calipers/micrometers for shop-floor checks
- Full dimensional reports (FAI, CPK, PPAP) provided with every shipment upon request
