Custom Slotted Metal Shell
A cylindrical body with elongated openings gives this sample a different geometry from a plain sleeve or a closed cup. The photographed part has a long hollow body, a formed rim at one end and several elongated openings near that end. SHANGERS welcomes drawing-based enquiries for this type of custom metal component.
Define the shell around your assembly
The sample illustrates a shape, not a fixed catalogue specification. For your project, identify the outside diameter, inside clearance, overall length and rim geometry. Include the mating component or a section view where the shell must fit around another part. Material grade, wall requirements and production route are reviewed against the requested drawing.
Make the openings part of the specification
Specify each opening's width, length, end shape and location. Where several openings repeat around the body, show their number and angular arrangement. If a particular opening must line up with a feature in the assembly, mark that relationship explicitly rather than relying on the product photograph.

Specify what matters on the finished component
If the inside surface, slot edges or rim are important to handling or assembly, identify those areas in the drawing. Include the intended inspection method or acceptance requirement where your project needs one. The photograph does not establish a material grade, coating, dimensional tolerance or service rating.

If you have no drawing, send photographs from both ends and from the side, together with measured dimensions and the intended mating arrangement. The separate short cylinder in the original reference photograph is not included as part of this product offer. Any matching component would need its own specification.
