The terminal is only one part of this order. When contacts remain joined to a metal carrier, the spacing, orientation and cut-off position belong in the specification too. SHANGERS manufactures custom carrier-strip stamped terminals around that complete arrangement.
What This Product Includes
The photographed example shows repeated formed terminals attached to one perforated carrier. Each terminal combines a narrow contact section, a wider body and a bent end. This page focuses on the connected strip format, rather than treating every contact as a loose, interchangeable component.
The carrier is part of the manufacturing and handling arrangement. It should not be confused with the final electrical connection between contacts. The customer drawing determines which portions remain on the finished component and which are removed.
Specify the Relationship, Not Just the Outline
01 / Spacing
State the terminal-to-terminal pitch and its reference points. Include the carrier-hole pattern separately where it is relevant to your tooling.
02 / Orientation
Show which side of the carrier holds the terminals and how the formed ends face. A top view alone may hide a bend or reversal.
03 / Separation
Mark the intended cut-off location and the acceptable remaining tab or edge condition. Distinguish the supplied strip from the final separated part.
The Delivery Format Belongs in the Order
Tell us whether you need connected strip sections for evaluation, a specified continuous-strip arrangement, or separated contacts. For a reel-fed requirement, include the feed direction, winding arrangement and packaging interface so feasibility can be reviewed before quotation. A photograph of a short strip does not establish compatibility with a particular applicator.
If you are replacing an existing component, send a representative strip as well as the finished terminal. That lets the discussion cover the carrier connection and spacing that may disappear after separation.

Start With a Strip Sample or Drawing
Send the terminal drawing together with the carrier layout. If only a loose sample is available, flag that the strip arrangement still needs definition. SHANGERS can then review the proposed supply format without assuming that the visible contact shape is the whole specification.
