A closer look at the sample
The sample has a long cylindrical body, narrow circumferential grooves and an enlarged circular end. Changes in diameter divide the profile into clearly defined sections. The side view shows the full outline, while the paired-sample photographs reveal the end faces and the larger and smaller sections. This is a reference for custom shafts with a comparable style of turned detail.

Your part does not need to copy this sample. A different body length, diameter sequence, groove arrangement or end profile can be discussed for a new drawing-based project. The pictured shaft is a manufacturing reference, not a fixed-size catalogue item. Each proposed variation is reviewed for manufacturability before its production scope is confirmed.

Machining detail is the focus
The cylindrical sections, shoulders and narrow recesses are the main machining features in this example. A related part may need fewer steps, additional grooves or a different end form. SHANGERS reviews those features from the customer's part drawing and discusses the proposed machining scope. The aim is to make the component you need, using this sample as a visual starting point.

Material, surface treatment and inspection requirements are agreed for the actual order. The pictured sample is not a fixed stock model.
